Historic Racing League started out as just using Formula One's history.

First season, running 6 races.
Rémy Sauvageon won his first Championship and Ferrari dominated the season, winning every race as well as the International Cup for Formula One Manufacturers
Second season, running 8 races.
Alexander Wilson won his third Championship, whilst Ferrari won the International Cup for Formula One Manufacturers
Third season, running 9 races.
Stefan Van Damme won the Championship in his debut year in Formula One and Lotus won the International Cup for Formula One Manufacturers.
Fourth season, running 11 races.
The title was ultimately won by Stefan Van Damme, with Lotus winning the Constructors' Championship. This was the Belgian driver's second championship.
Fifth season, running 12 races.
Stefan Van Damme and Lotus were the reigning Drivers' and Constructors' champions respectively, with Van Damme looking to win a record-breaking fifth championship.
Ultimately, Chuck Dingley won the Drivers' championship and Tyrrell took the Constructors' championship.
Sixth Season, running 12 races.
Stefan Van Damme came into the season as the first five-time World Champion, having won his 5th title in 1981. Van Damme ended his 10 year stint at Lotus to join Ferrari for the 1982 season.
Van Damme was unable to defend his championship in his first season at Ferrari, with American Chuck Dingley taking his fourth Drivers' Championship. Ferrari won it's first Constructors' Championship since 1967.
Seventh season, running 12 races.
Chuck Dingley took his fifth Drivers' Championship, tying the record set by Stefan Van Damme four years prior, but any celebration was overshadowed by the death of Vivaldo Margheriti at the season-ending Australian Grand Prix. Margheriti entered the final round of the season with a single point advantage over Dingley, but tragically passed away after a heavy crash through turn ten on lap 21.
Eighth season, running 12 races.
Ferrari's Chuck Dingley won his 6th and final championship before retiring at the end of the year.
Ninth season, running 12 races.
Fabiano Margheriti won the Drivers' Championship, taking his second title, whilst Williams clinched the Constructors' Championship.
Tenth season, running 11 races.
Ezequiel Zarco and Jordan entered the season as the defending Drivers' and Constructors' Champions. Otto Makkinen won his first Drivers' title, with Williams winning the Constructors' Championship.
Eleventh season, running 10 races.
Otto Makkinen entered the season as the defending champion, with Ferrari as the defending Constructors' champion. Jack Wilson won his fourth title, with McLaren winning the Constructors' Championship.
Twelth season, running 11 races.
Florian Delacroix was due to defend his 1999 championship but left the sport prior to the start of 2000. Williams entered the 2000 season as the defending Constructors' champion. Otto Makkinen won his fourth title.
Thirteenth season, running 11 races.
Eric Flynn went into the season as the defending Drivers' Champion, with Ferrari as the reigning Constructors' Champions. Otto Makkinen won his fifth Drivers' Championship, with Ferrari winning the Constructors' Championship.
Fourteenth season, running 11 races.
Georgina Hill went into the season as the defending Drivers' Champion, with McLaren as the Constructors' Champions. Stine Olander won her first Drivers' Championship. McLaren won the Constructors' Championship.
Fifteenth and final season, running 11 races.
David Dwyer went into the season as the defending Drivers' Championship, with Red Bull as Constructors' Champions. Josef Steinbacher clinched the championship with one race to go.

Alexander Wilson was a British racing driver from Scotland. He won the Formula One World Championship four times and currently holds the record for the most Grand Prix victories. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest Formula One drivers of all time.

Stefan Van Damme is a Belgian racing driver.
Initially hired by Lotus to step in after Alexander Wilson passed away in the Monaco Grand Prix, Van Damme quickly got to terms with the car and won the first two races of his Formula One career. He went on to win the 1972 Formula One Championship, despite having missed the first three races.

Maria Julia Parker was a British racing driver, who mainly competed in Formula One. She was the first woman to race in Formula One as she was hired by Matra to replace the late Erkki Virtanen who passed away at the 1972 Austrian Grand Prix. She is the second driver ever to win their debut race.

Vivaldo 'Viv' Margheriti was an Italian racing driver, who mainly raced for Williams in Formula One. He was the main challenger to Chuck Dingley during the 1985 Formula One Championship prior to his untimely death at the 1985 Australian Grand Prix.

Fabiano Mario 'Fabi' Margheriti is an Italian racing driver, currently driving for Ferrari in Formula One. He managed to challenge Chuck Dingley to win the 1986 Championship in his Ferrari.
After a two year contract at McLaren, Fabiano returned to Ferrari in 1991, winning the championship with his return with the Scuderia.
In 1994 Fabiano created the Scuderia Margheriti team, winning the 1995 Championship with Alex Parker.

Jack Wilson is a British racing driver, racing for McLaren in Formula One. He is the son of the four-time Formula One Champion Alexander Wilson.
